In 2021, NP Partners and local residents Harvey and Kaye Dunlop saw the opportunity to create better access to this special beach area. Through the Taranaki Foundation and working with the NPDC parks team and external contractors, their idea is now turned into a reality. More families from the community are now enjoying better beach access.
