Phil has lived in and worked in New Plymouth since 1982, and along with his wife Robyn, has raised 3 sons here.
His career experience spans a 20-year tenure as a Partner at Telfer Young, then 15 years as Executive Director of KCL Property and General Manager of Augusta Funds Management.
Phil is a current trustee of the Govett-Brewster Foundation, a past President of the Property Institute of New Zealand and a Life Member of the New Plymouth Chamber of Commerce. In addition through Family Trusts and business interests, Phil also has a significant personal interest in commercial property outside Taranaki as an investment and development vehicle.
Phil is a big advocate for the Taranaki Foundation, what it does, and what it can do, supporting initiatives that grow our region as a desirable place to live and work. Phil was elected as Chair of Taranaki Foundation in November 2023.
