Maree is a proud Taranaki local, born and raised in our beautiful region. After marrying her husband Brent, they spent a few years in Sydney before returning to New Plymouth, where they raised their three sons.
In 1986, Maree co-founded Stars Travel, which has been operating for over 38 years. Her passion for community has driven her involvement in various charitable organisations, including serving as Treasurer and then Chair of New Plymouth Community Foodbank. She has also been involved with Look Good Feel Better, Hospice and St Joseph’s Church.
Currently, Maree serves as a board member for Alzheimers Taranaki, where she recently project-managed and fundraised for their new premises which opened last year.
Maree is deeply committed to making a positive impact in her community and her extensive experience reflects her dedication to both business and philanthropy.
