Floyd is a Director at Schurr and Ireland Chartered Accountants, bringing over a decade of experience in the accounting industry, working across a diverse range of clients, businesses and sectors.
A proud Taranaki local, Floyd is a graduate of Victoria University and completed his accounting qualifications with Baker Tilly Staples Rodway Taranaki. His career journey has also included experience in Edinburgh, where he worked with EY in Financial Advisory, focusing on Banking and Capital Markets.
Floyd is passionate about supporting local businesses and contributing positively to the community. He serves as the Chair of the New Plymouth Montessori Association and is a trustee of the Taranaki Community Stadium Trust. Additionally, he is actively involved with Sports Taranaki on various governance steering committees.
Joining the Taranaki Foundation is an honour for Floyd. He looks forward to contributing to its success and sharing the impact it can have on building a lasting legacy within the community.
