Executive & Team Operations

Emma brings to the role an educational foundation of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics and International Relations from Otago and Victoria Universities. Beginning her career as a family lawyer in New Plymouth, Emma developed strong skills in detail, organisation, and communication, which she now applies to driving efficiency and positive change in executive and operational settings.

After starting her family, Emma was inspired to move into the philanthropic sector, seeking an opportunity to contribute to compelling, long-term impact in her community. With a diverse background in various volunteer roles, Emma has learnt how providing compassionate support and a little time can create transformative and meaningful outcomes for people.

Proudly from Taranaki, Emma is deeply connected to the region where her family and husband’s family all belong. Raising their children here, she values the unique lifestyle Taranaki offers — from its beaches and outdoor adventures to its community spirit and growing arts and food scene. Emma’s passion for people, place, and purpose inspires her work.

Emma thrives in a role where she works alongside passionate individuals and groups who strive to create a brighter future for the greater Taranaki community.
