Ōpunakē High School has established the Ōpunakē High School Fund to support the vision and delivery of education at Ōpunakē High School. The Fund has a long-term outlook with a goal to grow it over time to benefit the Ōpunakē High School for generations to come.

The Ōpunakē High School Centenary was celebrated over Taranaki Anniversary Weekend in March 2025 and saw hundreds come together to celebrate, reconnect and reminisce. The OHS fund was launched over the course of the weekend, with money raised used to seed the fund.
