Ōpunakē High School has established the Ōpunakē High School Fund to support the vision and delivery of education at Ōpunakē High School. The Fund has a long-term outlook with a goal to grow it over time to benefit the Ōpunakē High School for generations to come. The Fund will also play a role in the Taranaki Anniversary Weekend 2025 Centenary Celebrations. More details below.

Centenary Celebration – Opunake High School
The Ōpunakē High School Centenary will be held over the Taranaki Anniversary Weekend 2025, celebrating 100 years of educating the rangatahi of coastal Taranaki.
Event Details:
Date – Friday 7th, Saturday 8th & Sunday 9th March, 2025
Location – Ōpunakē High School Grounds & Sinclair Events Centre
The Centenary will be celebrated across three days with a range of activities and events happening.
