Suki brings a rich and varied background in media, education, and health management across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand. Her early career in London spanned advertising, design, and film, followed by solo travel around the world and a period living in Australia. A lifelong passion for the ocean led her to study marine sciences in North Wales and the Orkney Islands, where she met her husband, Si.
Since moving to New Zealand in 2006 with her young family, Suki has held diverse roles at the University of Otago libraries, the School of Nursing at WITT, Te Whatu Ora Taranaki, and several primary care settings. Her career reflects an eclectic mix of responsibilities, including clinical skills and simulation, student coordination, business systems analysis, and operational leadership in both health and education sectors.
Now serving as Grants Coordinator, Suki is excited to work alongside the Taranaki Foundation whānau to support and empower voluntary groups and charities through meaningful funding initiatives.
