The South Taranaki Community Projects Fund has been established to support capital projects and initiatives that enhance the wellbeing of the South Taranaki community.
Originally raised many years ago through local fundraising efforts, including contributions toward the Hāwera pool alongside Alan Horner, these funds have now found a new purpose. With the original Trust wound up, the remaining balance of $48,814.51 has been invested with Taranaki Foundation to ensure it continues to benefit the community for generations to come.
This fund honours the spirit of local generosity and ensures those original contributions are put to good use in meaningful ways across South Taranaki.
