Theresa brings extensive experience in relationship management, events and community projects. Her background includes roles with the Institute of Directors and CAANZ, as well as involvement in major events such as Rugby World Cup 2011, FIFA U-20 World Cup, WOMAD New Zealand, and the Festival of Lights.
Since moving to Taranaki from the UK in 2002 with her husband Simon, Theresa has become a passionate advocate for the region she proudly calls home. She joined Taranaki Foundation in 2021 to help drive local, long-term impact.
As Funding & Relationships Manager, Theresa enjoys working closely with donors, partners, professional advisors and funding applicants to build strong relationships and deliver meaningful community outcomes. Whether she’s telling stories of impact or connecting with generous locals, she’s passionate about making philanthropy personal and empowering people to give in ways that matter to them.
She believes that everyone has something to offer — time, experience, or financial support — and that by working together, we can build a stronger, more connected Taranaki for all.
